Bring life to your Digital Surface Model with Airbus 3D World Mesh (formerly 3D Textured Model). 3D Mesh is derived from our very high resolution optical imagery, opening up new possibilities for rapid, highly detailed 3D reconstruction and visualisation.
3D Mesh combines DSM with true ortho-mosaic and realistic facade and is processed semi-automatedly.
Leveraging Pléiades Neo imagery data, we produce our own very high resolution mesh to ensure the highest level of detail. Now also available with HD15 processing, for even more precise object details.
Key features
- Very-High Resolution: Based on Pléiades Neo and Pléiades Neo HD15 image processing for highly detailed 3D Mesh
- Accuracy: down to 1.5m absolute vertical accuracy
- On-demand tasking: ensure data freshness by tasking a satellite over your area of interest
With 3D Mesh, we are taking terrain data and entering a new dimension. 3D Mesh offers new possibilities for virtual reality simulators (ViSim), detailed analytics, gaming, construction and more. 3D Mesh offers replicates of our world on a very large scale, with the possibility of regular refresh to reflect our changing environment.

Who Airbus 3D World Mesh can support?
- Defence & Security: simulate your tactical mission in a realistic environment, improve your situational awareness with better knowledge, not only of the terrain, but of what it is made up of (nature of man-made structures and vegetation)
- Entertainment and education: plan entertainment projects (shows, large scale events, museum reconstructions) without the need for on-the-ground data collection. 3D Mesh unlocks new use cases in sectors such as gaming, simulation and more.
- Infrastructure and engineering: model your construction project or city map. Photorealistic models support decision-making and easy demonstration of plans to internal and external stakeholders
